Arguing with fundies is like arguing with a broken record. They keep repeating themselves over and over. 'If you're not a Christian, you're going to hell!' 'Being gay is a SIN!' and so on and so forth. I know I should ignore these people, but sometimes it's hard to resist arguing with them.

A rabid fundie who keeps telling me that being gay makes you go to hell, and that ALL OTHER RELIGIONS ARE WRONG, no matter how many logical arguments I throw at him. Click on the link if you want to laugh at a fundie's FAIL arguments. My argument with him is on his frontpage.

Not surprised, but deeply disappointed nonetheless
So if you use this site with a bit of regularity, you're probably aware of the AI art application that was added to this website. I have fiddled around with it to see what it's like and came up with some neat images to use as ideas for my stories and stuff, but I would never post them and say I created them because all I did was throw a few words into the machine. Now I'm seeing a lot of AI art here and frankly, it's depressing. It can be fun to use for oneself, and it's especially insulting when people download the pictures and then upload them as their own art. It's one thing when these AI-generated art carry the label, but people trying to pass off obvious AI shit as their own by removing the AI description or whatever are just gross. Have fun with it, play with it, but remember, it's not your work or your creativity, it's just some crap some computer cobbled together with various images it collected from the Internet because of a few words you typed. Come the fuck on.

I've been a member of this site for almost 20 years (though not very active at all for a decade or so) I was here during the... ah, kerfuffle between Spyed and Jark back in the 00's, and had not given it much thought for years (I was on Jark's side) and it's been a while since I logged into this site so I decided, on a lark, to see what they'd been up to and it turns out Spyed sold this site and is no longer the CEO, as of a few months ago. People really tore into him, deservedly so. I know some people still use this site so I've chosen to not deactivate my account even though I'm barely active here. fuck 2020
It's almost June 2020, so I think people know what I'm talking about when I say fuck 2020, especially with what just happened in Minnesota. It looks like 2020 is going to be a decade to remember like the 1920's, and we've just barely started. I can only hope that 2029 doesn't end like 1929, though we're already seeing an ass-ton of unemployment and other shit already this year. I know a lot of us are going through difficulties right now. I'm an essential worker so it is pretty stressful worrying about the risk of catching COVID19 and/or bringing it home and getting my SO sick. I've been doing my best to keep both of us (as well as friends/coworkers/etc) healthy and I hope you all do the same. We are fortunate to at least live in a time where Internet is easier to access and use (anyone remember the days of dial-up Internet? Uggggh) and we can keep ourselves entertained as well as safe, and also be able to use the Internet to motivate and help/support others. Scammers, trolls, and
