So many people think that it's all about black people - and yes, many black people have problems. I live two blocks away from a ghetto and see how ghetto living has ruined the lives of so many blacks - but white people can be just as stupid. There needs to be tough love on ALL the stupids, not blacks. And rules that enforce tough love. Like mandatory vasectomies for men who keep making babies but wont pay child support.

Never would have thought of vasectomies. In my peace-loving mind, that seems a little extreme. Meh, that's just me.

Well, having a vasectomy doesn't stop them from using their penises. But it WILL prevent them from using their penises to make MOAR children they won't take responsibility for. A similar thing should be done for women who have kids and are on welfare. It's like the spay/neuter program for pets. These people can still have fun, but we don't get unwanted kittens/puppies/bastard children that are a drain on society.

I don't want my tax money going to pay for some kid because their mom is too lazy to work and spends her sugar daddy's money on Coach/Gucci/whatever the fuck purses and manicures but won't use that money on baby formula or diapers for their kids. Seriously, I see dressed up women using foodstamps.

A lot of people should start taking responsibility. Not to say all low-income citizens are lazy and ignorant, some (like my family) are hard-working people who just need a little boost. But there are always the assholes who take advantage of the Government's support and make us all look bad. As for sterilization (I read through the other comments), while I think some people should be sterilized, it hits a little to close to The Eugenics Program of the 20's an 30's.

What starts off as sterilizing the mentally handicapped and those who cannot afford children easily turns into sterilizing people who aren't of a certain race or religion. It's happened in the country before. In Vermont in the 20's and 30's 300 Abenaki Indians were sterilized by the Government. Hitler got his ideas from The American Eugenics Program. Trust me, I'm an Abenaki.
